Quarterly Driver Performance Program
VPT is proud to reward company drivers with a performance program that will take the following categories into consideration: Over The Road Safety, Fuel Economy, Driver’s hours of service, Overall Driver Performance.
Over The Road Safety
Scores are based on: Harsh Driving, Speeding, Following too close, Distracted driving, Accidents, customer complaints, motorist complaints, VPT complaints about unsafe driving and in cab camera data.
Fuel Economy
Fuel Scorecard: Idle time, Cruise Control, Coasting, Over Speed, Top Gear usage, Over Revving of the engine and overall MPG
Best Overall Driver Performance
Total Score = 34% Safety, 33% Fuel, 33% Driver’s Hours of Service
The top 3 drivers in each category will be announced on the first Friday of the new quarter and will receive a Driver Performance Bonus on their next applicable pay check.
